When you visit(ed) me, information is what you get (got) and I believe that information is key to your decision making and obviously the more information you have the happier you will be in the choice you make, because you become an informed customer/consumer.
My honest advice is for you to visit me at the early stage of your research. Based on your needs and budget, I may be able to advice on which vehicles to look at in the market and what to include as part of your research. Once you have visited me, then these sites will make more sense to you.
Honda of Clear Lake: If you are looking for a new car, pre-owned cars, certified pre-owned cars, or for contact information of any long term working staff at John Eagle's Honda of Clear Lake
Honda Cars: This would be a good place to start if Honda vehicle is one that is on your list as it gives you information about Honda vehicles and if you choose to compare any desired Honda vehicle, this site will let you know what would compare to at 'Apples to Apples'. So instead of comparing the Honda Pilot to the Toyota Sequoia, you will be shown the default comparable vehicle in Toyota which will be Toyota Highlander. Comparisons are done based on data that is extracted from various manufacturers website. Side by side comparison available.
IntelliChoice®: This is a wonderful site that will give you much more data and information to the point of 5 Star ratings and expected expenses over 5 year ownership of any vehicle you choose so when you are doing comparisons, you can avoid the common mistakes of starting with the cheapest and ending with the most expensive. Comparisons are done based on data that is extracted from various manufacturers website. Side by side comparison available.
Edmunds: This is another wonderful website for comparisons and great source of information and reviews. Comparisons are done based on data that is extracted from various manufacturers website. Side by side comparison available.
Kelly Blue Book: Though mainly used in the Northern (East&West) part of USA, this is a great site for plenty of information if you want to trade in your used car, find out what your used car can retail for if you sell it to a friend or if you want to know what to expect to pay when you go to buy a used car. Plenty of reviews and pricing information including what you should expect to pay on new car purchase. My advice is to use it as a rough estimate because the difference you will see when you visit a dealership in south or south east is really big (some times to your advantage)
Ask Jeeves: A wonderful Internet Butler who will help find answers to almost any question under the sun as absurd as it may be
mySimon: Wonderful site for doing comparisons of electronics and pricing.
Google: Make your search easy and fast!
If you know of a general useful site that can have to do with cars, please send me the link to samir@carmansam.com
